India succeeded in trouble Pakistan Super League : Here is How
SourcePakistan Super League gained so much popularity all over in the world after 2016 but now as well as popularity troubles are also increasing for the league. Pakistan has been third most popular league in the world after BBL & IPL, Pakistan Super League founded in September 2015.
First edition of the Pakistan Super League began on 4 February 2016 with 5 teams in United Arab Emirates all matches held in UAE, Final of the tournament was played on 23 February won by Islamabad united, only three editions of the has been played with Islamabad united being the champions twice.
After two successful editions with 5 teams sixth team Multan Sultan was added in 2018 edition, Azad Kashmir was under discussion but rejected. Although it is named Pakistan Super League but most of its matches are held in UAE, First match of the Pakistan Super League which was played in Pakistan was final of 2017, then playoffs and final were played in Pakistan earlier this year.
After two successful editions in UAE Chairman of Pakistan Super League Najam Sethi said that "more than 10 matches will be held in Pakistan in 2019's edition". Though 24 matches will be held in UAE but they are now in danger.
Here is How India is going to increase trouble for Pakistan Super League's upcoming edition
More than 20 matches will be held in UAE in upcoming edition but that seems difficult now as BCCI has decided to held their league (IPL 2019's edition) in United Arab Emirates. Moreover Afghanistan's League and T10 league will be held there. Arab Emirates has too announced their own league and has many new plans for that. India is playing huge role to start United Arab Emirates League and has insured them to give big sponsorships.United Arab Emirate's league will be held before PSL will end in between Pakistan Super League, there are chances that schedule of Pakistan Super League might be changed but we have to wait for any official announcement. However Arab Emirates League's name has not been announced but according to plan 26 matches will be played in 24 days, each team will be consist of 16 players, each team will play with 6 foreign players.
Arab Emirates League's chairman Naseem Ashraf quoted that "This league will have its own identity and Everyone would love to buy its tickets."
On the other hand Pakistan Cricket Board is looking for a new home venue where the series against Australia and New Zealand would be held. Hong Kong has offered Pakistan Cricket Board to organize their most of series there.But PCB is still waiting for UAE Cricket official to respond to the warning. Any official announcement has not been made yet.
